The Best Travel Cribs Are Here!

seal of approvalLooking for a travel crib? Ready to go and take the little one out of the house? It's a big step and one important thing you'll need is a travel crib. A travel crib is different than a bassinet or the crib you use at home. They function the same but are designed to be easily setup and taken down and portable. We've researched about a dozen travel cribs and narrowed it down to the top 5 we feel that you should consider. Each travel crib listed has their own pros and cons so make sure you check out each one below and our recommendation at the very bottom. Happy travels!

If you need something more compact (such as traveling on the airplane where you can't lug around a travel crib), parents and us love the KidCo PeadPod. It's compact enough to fit into your luggage flat and it's super lightweight. It's also great for outdoor use as it has UV protection so if you're out and about this is great to have. It comes with it's own storage bag so it makes it easy to store and carry.

4Moms Breeze
4moms breeze playyardThe moment we took out the 4Moms Breeze and pushed down on it and it opened up and was ready to go was when we were completely convinced this was the best travel crib ever. To close the Breeze, there's a strap that you just pull up and it closes back up. You wrap the mat around the unit and it goes easily into a carrying bag. The only knock on it was the weight of the Breeze. It comes in as one of the heavier travel cribs but you only notice the weight when you're moving it from the car to the house. If you're looking for something lightweight for travel like on the airplane, then this will not be the right travel crib for you. If so, we would recommend the Lotus Travel Crib.
